Pesaro

CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2024

Pesaro has just achieved a great record, ranking first in the "Capital of Culture" competition for the year 2024. In these two years the city will prepare to welcome all tourists with tailor-made events and events, do not miss the chance to visit it, as it is very close to our campsite!

Pesaro, "City of music, of bicycle and land of drivers and engines", is set between the Colle Ardizio and Monte San Bartolo and overlooks the Adriatic Sea. It has a beach of over 4 kilometers, with first-class sport and tourism equipment, but also a wide cultural offer for art and music lovers, with its museums and monuments, churches, villas and historic buildings.

Fano

Coastal town famous for its ancient Carnival, Fano boasts a historical center full of Roman (the Walls with the Arch of Augustus), Renaissance (the Malatesta Court) and Neoclassical (the Teatro della Fortuna) traces. Its 20 kilometer long coastline has both sandy and pebble beaches.

Frasassi

Between two sheer mountains, a wild gorge hides the treasure of the Frasassi Caves with splendid formations of stalactites, stalagmites and crystal flows in a harmonious succession of shapes between lakes, ponds and caskets, illuminated with natural colors and artificial lights. A long itinerary presents a surreal landscape, a world at the dawn of nature.

Gola del Furlo

This suggestive rock gorge and nature reserve crossed by the river Condigliano, is one of the most impressive examples of river engraving of the entire Apennines. While hiking and mountain biking, Gola del Furlo offers glimpses and naturalistic riches of great geological interest.

Gradara

Gradara is a medieval village surrounded by long walls and dominated by the Malatesta Fortress, background of the tragic love story between Paolo and Francesca narrated by Dante in the Divine Comedy.

Loreto

The city of Loreto develops around the famous Basilica that houses the Holy House of Nazareth where, according to tradition, the Virgin Mary was born, lived and received the announcement of the miraculous birth of Jesus. Centre of worship and pilgrimage, it is a mystic charming village amid the hills of the Conero Riviera.

Monte Nerone

Monte Nerone, among the highest peaks of the Umbria-Marche Apennines, reaches 1525 meters above sea level and it is offers a network of trails suitable for excursions for the whole family.

San Bartolo

The Regional Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo, established in 1994, dominates the northern part of Pesaro. It can be crossed by car through the panoramic Adriatic road - from which you can enjoy breathtaking views - or on foot, along the fascinating paths surrounded by greenery. The cliffs overlooking the crystalline water, coloured by flashes of brooms in bloom, make the landscape inimitable.

San Leo

Picturesque Medieval Fortress located on a sheer cliff, San Leo represents a unique natural sculpture of its kind. As a matter of a fact, you can only enter its historical centre through a single road carved into the rock. Not surprisingly, Umberto Eco defined San Leo as "the most beautiful city in Italy".

San Marino

San Marino, the oldest and smallest Republic in the world, is perched on Mount Titano between Romagna and Marche. With its nine fascinating castles, the rich heritage of historical and museum assets and its extensive shopping facilities, it is an unmissable attraction that charms 3 million tourists each year.

Urbino

Urbino, Renaissance city and capital of the Duchy of Montefeltro, gave birth to Raffaello Sanzio and Bramante. Its characteristic, perfectly preserved historical centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its exceptional architectural and pictorial masterpieces, first of all the Palazzo Ducale.
